DCRU Girly Challenge - C4C12

Hi Everyone,
Getting this one in just under the wire. Please click on the picture & go down to the Bow & sentement section to view.  I could not get a good picture for detail.  But it shows up nice if you enlarge from above picture.
I would like to Thank Amy @ A Thousand Sheets Of Paper.  If I had not seen her card from 19 Oct. 2009 I would not have this little girl.  Also I need to Thank Lori Boyd & Claudia again for getting me the Spellbinder before I left for San Diego.  It completed this card.  I had that space in the lower left corner that just needed something.  I had cut this for another project but it was too big to use.  So I had been holding on to it.  I  folded it a couple of times & used a few 3D squares.  This is the first time I have used the Flower Soft.  And the Stickles(I may have gone a little nuts with the Stickles) remember I'm still new to all the toys.
I also need to Thank C4C girls for this weeks challenge.  I was having a hard time coming up with a layout for the Girly Challenge & found yours today.  So Thanks.

Entry: Fidget (Sweet November Stamp), Paper From In My Minds Eye, Cuttlebug Swirls, Spellbinders Pendants Fleur De Lis, Stickles (Star Dust), Flower Soft (Heather )& Prismacolor Pencils.

This is the best I could do with the camera. This is the Flower Soft in Heather.
Thank You for considering my Entry.

TPE Challenge #41

.
Hi Everyone,
I hope this finds you all doing well.
My Entry's Details:
This little girl is Holly Jolly Bonnie from Digital Delights, Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder,Basicgray opaline half pearls (blues),Queen & Co. crimson pearls, red gliter pen & clear gliter pen, rhinesstones , Prismacolor pencils, Making Memories heart ribbon slide(can not find them any longer) & misc. ribbon.

I was worried about my back circle not having a scalloped edge and putting my embelishment on the opp. side of the card than what Lori had done.I started this project before the Design Team had posted their samples Since I'm still green at this I see that I may be taking the challenge directions tooo literal. Once I saw what the DT came up  with. But all in all I 'm happy with the way she came out. You all have a good rest of the week.
Thank You for considering my entry.

DP2 Challenge #6

Hi Everyone,
Hope this finds you all doing well.
This challenge couldn't have come at a better time.  I've had this guy for awhile and had just started coloring when this challenge was posted.  These two remind me of my Savannah & Ethan (3yr. nephew).(for those of u who pay special att. to details I do know that I did Savannah's face oppisite of what it is in real life)
About My Entry: I'm on the road so before I left home I printed some of my Digis since I did not know if I would be able to print.  And of course I cut them in squares.  But I left enough room to convert into a round without it looking to bad. Well, I've just tried to find the name of this image by Mo, but did not have any luck.  I have the laptop so alot of my info. is not available. I have used We R memory keepers Urban Window Collection Diner Jukebox paper. I use both sides of paper for this card. Making Memories ribbon charm, Ribbon from Walmart, Robins Nest dew drops,  sticker by7gypsis from the Joy card, sticker is mounted on CuttleBug die Cut, brown dot paper I could not find a name for  & I used Prismacolor Pencils.
Thank you for considering my entry.

DCRU Embossing Challenge

Hi Everyone,
I hope this finds you all doing well.  I love this Mo.  I have a picture of my Dad & Savannah singing Happy Birthday.  And Savannah looks just like puppy in Jingle Bells . I would have added it, but it's not stored on the laptop.

My Entry: Image Mo's Jingle Bells, White & Black cardstock, Red cardestock Stampin Up & BoBunny Sugar Dot item #125D550,Cuttlebug Embossing Folder Allegro,Ribbon Offray 907GG Swissdot Red 5,Robins Nets Dew Drops , Making Memories Ribbon Charm & Liquid  Applique.  I used Prismacolor Pencils & Stampin Up Scallop punch.

This project has way more embossing than what you can tell. Going with a easel card designe created a problem with the embossing folder I used.   Kept coming out upside down or backwards.  I added embossed blk. card stock.  That did not look right ,added embossed red cardstock.  Still did not like. Embossing did not show up on the on the blk/wht dot.  Added the wht. embossed.  So there are realy 5 layers of embossing.   But as it turned out, when you remove the card from it's emvelope you get a hint at what's inside when you open the card up.
So it all turned out in the end.  I hope everyone has a good rest of the week.

Thank You for considering my entry.

TPE #40 Be Thankful Challenge

Hi Everyone,
I hope this finds you all doing well.  I'm on the road again, this time San Diego, Ca.
Hubby has left for the Base (USMC Airstation Mira Mara) someone has to go to work and make money to pay for all my supplies. It has been a little strange doing challenges on the road.  Since this time I traveled by air. Not like my Atlanta trip where I drove and could take everything but the kitchen sink with me.  Was not sure when I checked my supplies in at the airport what I would find when I landed.  But everything seems to have traveled well. Wished I would have packed my THANK YOU cuttlebug embossing folder would have worked well with this weeks challenge.  But  I'm happy with what I turned out. San Diego area  was our last Duty Station before Nick was sent to Oki. so I knew where I could find back up supplies if needed(LOL). And now looking at my entry most of what I used to make this one I got since I've been here.  Now for my Entry.
I used Unity Stamp "Shine On!" stamp,Writing is mine around the border (Thankful for you),BoBunny a gift of Love Sugar Dot item #12SD550 & Mellow Yellow Dot item #12MYD635 paper, Light blue cardstock & Black cardstock, Making memories rectangle variety pack 2 " 3 ribbon charms" & the ribbon I do not know. I picked it up at Cool Scrapbook Stuff here in Poway (http://www.coolscrapbookstuff.com/), Rhinestone Strips Basics by Kaisercraft & Dew Drops dd-17 mens,, I used a scallop punch from stampin up for the bottom.
When I glued the Mellow yellow paper to the card I put it on the inside back of the card instead of the back of the front of the card. But when you stood the card up it did not show. So scince we just had a Easel Card Challenge for C4C. I was playing with doing a version of that without using more cardstock than what I had used to make the card. I glued the bottom front and back of the card together. Then went to the top of the card and cut the card apart(the fold) And this is what I came up with. It is a little off balance because of the ribbon charm being heavy. It works but if you use a heavy item on the card it would be better to have the back support come up at least 1/2 the way up the back of the card. Well, that's it. I can't wait to see what you all come up with for next weeks challenge (more shopping?) Everyone enjoy the rest of your week.
Thank You for considering my entry.

C4C10 Easel Card

Hi From San Diego
I'm so glad that you did this challenge.  It gives me a new way to display my babies.  That's what I call them.  When Nick first saw them he asked if I was sending everyone a different card.? I was shocked, what send them "these are my babies".  I know, those of you who have been doing this for awhile are laughing."she will get over that".   Any way here's my entry for the easel challenge

First I would like to THANK Lori Boyd & Claudia @ DCRU for getting me the Spellbinders Pendant Die Cut I used.  Lori had used it for one of our samples & I wanted to get it.  But I got a last min. call from my husband that he was going to San Diego to pick up an airplane to take back to Oki.  so the girls got together and got the Die Cut to me before I left  in 3 days.

The image I used is one of Mo's.  It's her  Skating.  And of course if there's a dog in anything and it could be converted into some what looking like my Savannah.  I had just got the liquid app. when I did this card & loved playing so I may have gone a bit  overboard with it. I used prismacolor pencils, light blue cardstock & brown suade.  Spellibinders Pendant Die Cut from DCRU.  I'm still having trouble with Mo's scarfs.  So I didn't like what I had come up with for puppy's scarf.  So I cut little, little circles out and glued them on.  I loved how it turned out but really do not want to have to do that again.
Well, that is it. I hope everyone has a good week.
Thank You for considering my entry.

DCRU Challenge Nest Somehting

Hi Everyone,
Surprise it's not a Bella. I'd like to introduce you to Lilly Hot Cocoa  http://www.pinkcatstudio.com/ digi stamp.  I found her when I was looking for Coffee Kiki. Sheir Gilson's Sample card for this weeks Pink Elephant challenge.  I never did find Kiki.  If you go looking for Lilly look her up by her name because my Lilly looks nothing like the orig.,then I used Spellbinder Pendant Kaleidoscope, Lilly is mounted on the Lg. die cut ( 2 )
Flower is the center of the Kaleidoscope Die Cut
Paper used is My Minds Eye Be Merry Candy Stripes Item #BM1001 & Sweet Sprinkles Item #BM1007, ribbon lg. circle from Rubber Stamp Fantasy in Mariette, GA., Brown Poke-a-dot from Wallyworld & liquid Applique.
I had to go back over the Applique because I decided after I had applied the applique the first time to cut out Lilly.  So that messed up the applique.  Well, that is it.  Everyone have a good rest of the week.  And Thank You for considering my entry.

Pink Enlephant Challange #39

Hi Everyone,
Hope you all had a good weekend.  I know another Bella.  You don't know how close I came to entering a diff. card that was not a Bella.  But that one was making me nuts trying to get yellow to work.  Then I remembered this little Bella.  She was my first. So I did not have my Copics or  Prismacolor Pencils yet. I think that she was done with Sharpies. But she's still one of my favorits.

I used glass charms that can be taken off to use. Well, everyone have a good week.
Thank you for considering my entry.
