DCRU Challenge #27 Left Over V-Day / CCT Challenge 101 Ribbon

Hello Everyone,

Hope this finds all doing well.  . I do not have any V-Day papers. So I thought this image would work for the challenge. By covering up  the shears with the ribbon & by coloring the Lg. hearts the color of puppy treats it could be used for any type of card.  So I hope this works for V-Day left-overs. I just love this (Freebie). I first saw her on Lori Boyd's blog.(use badge in sidebar to get to Lori's blog)  I have not been doing this long so I'm still having trouble getting the hair right.  Lori if you see this I was not trying to copie your colors and I can not believe that the shirt turned out the color it did.  I was trying to use distress ink.  The color I used was worn Lipstick (Pink) and this is what color I got.  I know I should have tried it on scrap paper first.  But even though it did not come out the color I was going for, it turned out to match ribbon I had.  Over all I'm happy with it.  And I guess in the end that is what matters. 

And I just love how it turned out on the back.  I could almost have used it for the front ,but not everyone goes for this effect. So I thought I would play it safe & use the front for the front. I actuly like the way puppy turned better on the back.

I love how the inside of this card turned out.  One thing I forgot to redo before I took the picture was to put "Puppy Treats !!!" under puppy.  This is what Savannah does when she wants her's.
