card/project below using our new friend INLINKZ. If you're uploading
to an online gallery, please use tag/keyword S2GSC64. The CONTEST is
open to everyone and Shirleys2Girls stamps are NOT required to play
along with us. You can play as many times as you like...We just want
you to have FUN!
Deadline: The INLINKZ entry widget will close at midnight PT on
Wednesday, July 14th, so all entries need to be in before then.
Winners will be announced on Friday, July 16.

Guest Designer Card for S2G Sparkle Challenge

Hi Everyone,

Guess what I've been invited to be the Guest Designer for July at S2G.  And if you couldn't tell by all the places that I have posted the news I'm Sooo Excited!!!

This is my first project as Guest Designer and I hope I don't dissapoint.  So wish me luck.

So here's what I came up with.  We kept the card simple because of having to cut cost for mailing.  So a little glamour dust for a touch of bling.  This is the project that will have me making a 50 mile trip for the tull.

They are looking for enthusiastic, friendly and

talented stampers…who can work with Digitals…

to help promote the company and provide inspiration to the

stamping community…through your personal blog,

online challenges and online galleries.



This S2G DT CALL is open to everyone!! You can check out the challenge blog at http://s2gpapercraftingcontest.blogspot.com/ or the online store at http://shirleys2girls.com

Listed below are all of the details:



Requirements:

1. Participate for a term of 6 months. July 2010 - December 2010.

2. MUST Post all S2G card/projects, announcements, challenges, sales & new releases on your blog for the 6 mth term.

3. MUST Post all S2G cards/projects to online galleries ( SCS, SNR, etc) for great exposure.

4. Leave “a little Love” for the S2G fans that play each week in our Challenge.

5. Required to make a Minimum of 1 card/project weekly.

6. Participate in S2G weekly challenges, Blog Hops & New Release Parties.

7. Bring at least "3" new players to our challenges each month.

8. Willing to submit your work for publication. If get published S2G will give you $25.00...per publication.

9. Promote S2G stamps through your blog, and when and wherever you see an opportunity to share S2G.

10. Participate in creative ‘brain-storming’ sessions, from time to time…that might include project ideas, sketch ideas, marketing ideas…in other-words…we want your opinions.

11. Participate in our SNR Group Digi Days at least twice during your 6 month term.

What you get from S2G:

1. $10 in Attitude Gratitude each month for the 6 month term.

2. An opportunity to work with a friendly, fun, sassy.....group of Ladies with Attitude.

3. S2G will post your photo and bio on our Design Team page with links to your blog.

How To apply:

1. Post a message on your blog about our DT call and share 3 of your best creations in the post. You can include cards, scrapbook pages, and/or altered items. If you have any S2G images on your creations, please show us, although this is not required. Then send an email to Debbie at daniels.deb@gmail.com and cc Deidre and Kristine at thegirls@shirleys2girls.com and include your name, email, blog address, links to any/all online galleries, tell us if you are on any other design teams (no experience necessary), and list any related forums/message boards that you participate in.

2. Tell us about YOU! what you enjoy about stamping, what you could bring to the S2G DT and why you would like to be a DT member for S2G.

3. Deadline to apply is June 25th! We're looking forward to seeing your FAB work!

4. You will start your first Twisted Thursday challenge on Thursday, July 1st.

S2G TT Challenge #61 Something Old

I'm Back!!!!!

And what a time I picked! I'm loving the new Brides IF you haven't seen them yet S2G having a Hop!!!!! http://s2gpapercraftingcontest.blogspot.com/ So Get yourself over there & check them out.  The DT has done a AWESOME!!!!! JOB!  And you should see the prizes!!!!!  I have a short break from guest.  Sometimes the Farm gets like a B&B.  But that's the way it should be.  Well, it is soooo hot here in the computer room so I had better get on with my entry.  I decided since this was such a fun image to keep my card simple.  Well, simple for me! And for my something old. I used Tull that is about 8 yrs. old. It was left over from another wedding. And the bow ribbion is about 4yrs old. It was the perfect color to match what the bride has picked.  I'm doing the flowers for a wedding.  So my brain went there when I started working on this card.

Sugar Nellie Challenge #9 Gate Card

Hi Everyone!

I just love this little cutie.  Isn't she adorable? This is the first chance I have had to use her.  When I first colored her I was planning on sending her to a friend in Ca. so I  used her colors.  But !  I find that I am going to have to make another.  I just can't part with her.  Good thing that these are some of my colors also.  Well, since this entry has a lot of pictures with it I had better let you go & get to the details of my entry.  Thank you for considering my entry.

Since I always get stuck making bows for everyone I wanted to make it so the bow did not have to be untied to open card.  So I used Picture corners to hold the image that then holds the card closed. You just slip one side of the image out of the corners to open.

And the finishing touch on the back a button I had hot glued and center filled in with a BoBunny crystal
