HI Everyone,

I hope this finds you all doing better than I have been.  If it wasn't bad enough that I had the whole teeth thing to deal with, last night my belly started up & has not stop.  So I'm just  getting this in under the wire.

 My Entry this week:

The Image that I used is hand sketched by me. It is based  on a Diane Duda/ Sugar Nellie Stamp. I have the stamp ordered but it has not had time to get to me.  So I thought that I would try my hand at sketching it.  I hope that I have not broken any of the copy laws. Any way I  used mixed mediums Copic Markers & Prismacolor Pencils. I wanted to be able to remove the image so if someone wanted to frame it they could.  I used Photo Corners & then I used acetate to cover.  I used 3 BoBuny I Candy brads from the Melody collection.  The paper, ribbon & button are all extras that I had around the house.

Sassy DCRU #25 Love Challenge / CCT #99 Name of Love/ TPE Challenge #53

Hi Everyone.

 I hope that this finds all doing well.  I'm recovering form having 2 teeth pulled ,2 filled & getting my first  partial.  This all happened on Thur. So I'm moving a little slow.

 Now for my entry.

The orig. Digi Stamp is from Sassy Studio (Baby it's Cold Outside) I had Knitted & Felted this hat so when I saw this stamp on Lori Boyd's site I had to have it.  I have made a few changes.  I changed the Hat,scarf & Hair.

Paper I used is from DCRU Feb. Kit along with the buttons.  I can't believe that the colors I used match the Feb. Kit so well.

I used Copic markers & Prismacolor Pencils to color 

Cuttlebug to emboss card base & misc. ribbon

And since we have been having soooo much snow I had to add just a touch of snow.

Well, my teeth are starting to hurt so I had better go.

C4C #23 Be My Valentine Challenge

Hi Everyone,

While home(Mom & Dad's) I got back into my Knitting.  I was in one of the yarn shops & it was filled with Sheep.  They were hiding every where.  The shop owner was very kind & threw in some extras.  So I wanted to send her a Thank You Card.  So when I got home(Savannah's & My Home in Ky.) I went  sheep hunting & found this little one at Pink Petticoat. I love the cards that she does.  They remind me of Fondunt(not sure that I spelled that right)you know the stuff that they put over wedding cakes. Any who, when I printed the image I did the one with Valentine by mistake so I thought it would work well for my hubby. Since we will not be together for Valentines Day I went with the Thinking of (Ewe).  Him being Marine Corps. I'm sure the first thing he will say "What did you call me????? Do I look like a female sheep ect." For those of you (not Ewe) who don't get that.  It's a line from the movie "An Officer And A Gentelman" .  Well, I have gone on long enough.  Better get to my entry for this weeks challenge.  Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

I think this is the smallest image that I have done.  Coloring was easier than I thought.

I used Copics:C1 to highlight the sheep, Face & Ears R20,YR00 & E93. Heart Flower R32&R20

Paper:Bazill Basics Blk Dotted Swiss,rest of the cardstock is no name that I got at a local shop.  Spellbinders Nest. #9 (I think? If not 9 then #5) Cricut: Thinking Of You (I cut off the You)George & Basic Shapes. Cuttlebug Swirls folder. Stickles Star Dust for the swirls on the sheep. Ribbon is from a box I got like you find at the store when they try to make it look special to go along with that special price.

It's nice to be back even if the weather isn't the best.  However as you can see I managed to miss getting a B-Day card done and in the mail in time to get there for the B-Day.  But I did get the phone call in on that day.

It was soooo hard to decide on a Fairy to use for this challenge.

Image is from WHimsie Doodles: Patience Pixie. I used Copics markers for the Black & for the hair.  I used Prisma Pencils for the red(Tuscan Red PC 937,Crimson Red PC 924 & Scarlet Lake PC 923. Paper used:Black is Bazzill Basics Dotted Swiss,B/W Dots BoBunny's Back to Backs Sugar Dot,Red is from Stamp In Up. Ribbon is some I had around the house.

TPE Challenge #52 Color Pink

Hi Everyone,

I'm back.  And it feels So Good. I thought that living were I do was bad (ineternet) but at least I have internet.  Mom and Dad do not.  And dial up, don't even get me started.  Any way hope everyone had a good Holiday.

Now for my entry:

Image I used is a Mo Freebie from SNR. Copic markers used: R17,R32 & R20(Pinks) for clothing & B00 (blue highlights). Shoes,Hair & pups ear E57,E55,E37 & E13. Paper used My Minds Eye Signature Christmas by Jen Wilson Holiday Glitter Book. Ribbon leftover from decorating for a wedding I did. All the little confettie was left from using the edge punch.  That was fun putting on the card.

TPE Challenge #45 Winter & or Christmas

Hi Everyone,

Hope this finds you all doing well. Not too many more days left for Christmas Shopping.
My entry is simple (for me) this is one of my Christmas cards that will be going into the mail. This is the first time that I have worked with Acetate. Learned alot. First thing was that my stamp stuck to the Acetate. So when I removed the stamp it blured my image. But that was ok for this project, because it gave the image the look of going sooo fast that she was a blurrrr. But then when I started coloring in I lost that. And coloring was a trip. But I think that all in all it turned out.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday #27

Hi Everyone,

Hope this finds all doing well & staying warm. I don't understand somedays I can get a good picture then others it just doen't happen no matter how many times I take them.  This is one of those not so good days.  I hope you can make this out.

This entry has a bit of a twist to it changeable tags. Take a look.

We have a knitter in the family so I thought that this would be a good card for her.  Since the only thing that says Christmas in this card is the Merry Christmas tag.  So I wanted her to be able to keep her card out so I came up with this.

My Entry: Stamping Bella image & Copic markers the rest are scraps that I could use.

Sugar Bowl Challenge #25 Lilians Sketch

Hi Everyone,

Hope you all are staying warm & dry .  It's rainy & cold here.

This is my first time here at the Sugar Bowl.  I have loved the Sugar Nellie stamps I'm just now getting to order them.  I'm new at this so I'm slowley getting my supplies.  I've tried to get a better picture than the ones that you are seeing but I'm not having much luck taking them. Now for my entry.

Sugar Nellie Stamp Peace Angel, Colored with Copic, Spellbinders used Kaleidoscope(Round part of Sketch) & Fleur De Lis (Square Part of Sketch) Shapeabilities Pendants They are kind of hard to see after adding the bow , But I think that I have all the eliments required for this challenge.,misc. ribbon & beads.  As for the paper used I could not find the names sorry. Option: Favorite Color  Blue

Quixotic Challenge #5 Charming

Hi Everyone,

This is my first entry for Quixotic.  As some of you know I have been in San Diego, Ca. visiting my husband while he was there working.  Well, I of course had to make him a Christmas card before he went back to Okinawa.  It doesn't look like we will be spending Christmas or New Years together.  So this is what I was doing the night before I left to come back home.  This is my husbands plane.  He had to help me with the colors to use since I could not figure out what some of the parts of the plane were.

I used the Herky Bird digi from Sunshine Stamps, Copic markers,  Since most branches of the military have the KC-130 I did this one in the Marine Corps color.Ribbon Charm from Memories Maker,misc. ribbon & card stock.  At Christmas they paint one of the plane's nose red and someone dress as Santa and they taxi out for the kids.  Year before last I think it was my husband (Nick go figure)was Santa.
